LILLØY is designed as an independent island stay, with cooking, gathering and slow meals at the heart of the experience.
Before crossing over to the island, we recommend picking up your main groceries on the mainland. Our Tiny Island Shop offers a curated selection of plant-based ingredients, local products, homemade specialities and everyday essentials, but it is best used to complement your stay rather than replace a full grocery shop.
Here are a few places we recommend stopping along the way.
IF YOU HAVE TIME IN BERGEN
REINDYRKA
For organic produce, local ingredients and thoughtful everyday groceries, Reindyrka is a lovely stop before heading towards the coast.
COLONIALEN FETEVARE
For delicacies, pantry treats and something a little special for the table, Colonialen Fetevare is worth visiting while you are in Bergen.
CONVENIENT STOPS ON THE WAY FROM BERGEN
If you are driving from Bergen towards Herdla, these supermarkets are convenient places to stock up before taking the boat to LILLØY.
SPAR KJERRGARDEN
A practical stop for everyday groceries and essentials before reaching the meeting point.
MENY RAVNANGER
A larger supermarket option with a wide selection of groceries, useful if you are planning to cook during your stay.
A SMALL NOTE BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
Once on the island, the pace changes quickly. We recommend planning your meals ahead, doing your main shop before the boat transfer, and leaving a little room for whatever the island inspires once you arrive.
For anything extra, our Tiny Island Shop is there to help with selected plant-based goods, local products and small essentials.
