A SLICE OF INDONESIA IN OLD SACHSENHAUSEN
Frankfurt, Germany – The charm of Indonesian culture has made its home in Frankfurt’s Old Sachsenhausen district with the recent opening of LIBERTINE TOKO & BAR, a culinary hideaway blending Indonesian flavours with a dash of urban Frankfurt, and nestled within the hotel LIBERTINE LINDENBERG. “Toko,” the Indonesian word for a cozy “Lädchen” or snack spot, channels a Späti vibe with a twist: it serves a selection of uniquely crafted drinks and small vegan bites, open to hotel guests and walk-ins alike.
This culinary concept is deeply rooted in the creators’ love for Indonesia—not just because of the group’s Bali-based hotel, LOST LINDENBERG, but also through the expertise of culinary consultant and chef Antje de Vries. Together, they’ve curated a menu that puts drinks front and center, paired with a small selection of snacks and dishes.
